Dear Bob:
Thank you for posting the articles about Jamerson. I have heard of Carol Kaye and think she was a good player,but she should stick to claiming all that Bobby Sherman, Beach Boys stuff she did in the early 60's. For years I've been a Jamerson fan but never knew who he was. He is the reason I picked up the electric bass. I remember thinking-"I hope this guy wasn't that good." I soon found out this was going to take years to understand all his grooves and licks. I would like to know if there is a place I can find video of some of the early Motown sessions and if so how and where I can get them? Keep up the great work on letting the world know about the"heartbeat" of the Motown sound.
