All I can say is she had the chance to prove her claims in court during a civil lawsuit which she initiated and chose to stop the lawsuit prematurely (IMO because with all the evidence and witnesses that would have contradicted her version of events, she would not have won). You must forget that there are people alive who had key roles in the production of the music in question and they would have been available for testimony. These people include the producers of the music in question and the surviving musicians, engineers and artist. There are also union contracts for most of the music in question (I know, Kaye claims they are false contracts but, CLAIMS is the key word here). No matter how compelling her "story", there is a mountain of evidence by many individuals that are contrary to her claims. I would offer that you see the documentary movie "Standing In The Shadows Of Motown", The Funk Brothers (as the Motown Detroit studio musicians were called) Story. It premiered to rave reviews at the Library of Congress in Washington DC December 14th, 2001. After seeing it myself I am of the opinion that what has been seen as folklore will soon be documented as fact. One phrase that has been my theme throughout this Carol Kaye V. James Jamerson controversy is this:
"Everybody Else Can't Be Wrong"
